Tour Overview
Bumthang is where Bhutan’s story begins — four valleys dotted with the country’s oldest temples, including Jambay Lhakhang and Kurjey Lhakhang, where the imprint of Guru Rinpoche is preserved in rock. This 8-day circuit pairs the western highlights with an overland journey across the Pele La into central Bhutan.
Ideal for travellers with an interest in Buddhist history, textile weaving and quiet mountain scenery.
