Frequently asked questions

Do I need a visa to visit Bhutan from India?

Indian nationals do not need a visa. You need a valid passport or Voter ID, and entry is registered at the border. We prepare the paperwork for you as part of the booking.

What is the Sustainable Development Fee and is it included?

The SDF is a per-night fee payable to the Royal Government of Bhutan. It is included in every package price shown on this site unless the package page states otherwise.

How do I pay for a Bhutan tour package?

No online payment is required to book. Once your itinerary is confirmed, our team shares secure payment options in Indian Rupees.

How far in advance should I book?

Two to four weeks is comfortable for most of the year. Peak months (March–May and September–November) fill earlier, so booking six to eight weeks ahead is wise.

Can the itinerary be customised?

Yes. Every package is a starting point. Tell us your dates, pace and interests and we will reshape the route around you at no extra planning cost.
